Qur’an and Fasting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “The fast and the Qur\u2019an are two intercessors for the slave of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: \u2018O My Lord, I have prevented him from his food and desires during the day, so let me intercede for him.\u2019 The Qur\u2019an will say: \u2018I have prevented him from sleeping at night, so let me intercede for him.\u2019 He said: \u2018Their intercession will be accepted\u2019.” (Ahmad)<\/p>\n
