قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “عليكم بقيام الليل فإنه دأب الصالحين قبلكم، وقربة إلى الله تعالى، ومكفرة عن السيئات، ومنهاة عن الإثم، ومطردة للداء عن الجسد”. (رواه أحمد والترمذي وصححه الألباني).
